French Onion Soup

French Onion Soup

I’ve been making a lot of soups lately and comfort food, in general. It’s been cold and rainy outside and I’ve been huddled up inside wandering around my kitchen.

Chicken Soup

There’s something so comforting about a warm bowl of home made soup on a cold, rainy day. Especially chicken soup.

Tuscan Chicken Soup - KitchenUncorked […] nothing more comforting than a warm bowl of homemade chicken soup. Whether it’s a traditional chicken soup or something a little different, like this Tuscan Chicken Soup, it’s a regular thing around […]

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Maple Mustard Sauce

Curried Quinoa Salad

Playing around in the kitchen is my all-time favourite thing to do. A couple of hours to myself with music playing in the background and a recipe idea floating around in my head waiting to get out.

Natalie Browne Thanks Jen! I'm glad you liked it.
Jennifer Browne I ate this! It was DELISH! :) <3

Blueberry Pizza

This is one of my favourite summertime recipes. I suppose it could be made all year long, but I always save it for summer when the local blueberries become available.

Elaine @Flavour and Savour Blueberries on pizza? Nope. Not crazy. Crazy-good! Pinning this one!

Chocolate Almond Mounds

This recipe is a new look at one of my childhood favourites.  The original recipe calls for coconut, but I’ve chosen to make it with toasted almonds.

Arielle Thank you! :)
Natalie Browne Thank you for your kind words. I've followed your blog, as well and look forward to reading your posts :)

Last week my family went on vacation. It was our first real family vacation, complete with hotel stays and airplane rides. It was great.

Lentil Tacos

Lentil Tacos

We have tacos of one kind or another at our house almost every week, usually fish or black bean.   They’re delicious and can be really healthy if you load them up with the right things.

Strawberry Brie Tarts

Every once in a while a recipe idea pops into my head that I can’t seem to let go of. This one all started with the strawberry mint smoothie I was having for breakfast.

Natalie Browne Haha! I promise it's not as hard as it seems. And it's definitely worth the attempt. Thanks Jolina!
Jolina - The Unlikely Baker You read my mind! The moment I saw phyllo fear crept in lol! Maybe this can be my phyllo intro, as you say :) These look great. And very fancy, like something you would serve at a dinner party. Delicious!

Quinoa Oatmeal Cookies

Last week I decided I was going to make some cookies. I don’t make cookies very often, unless it’s Christmas. Mostly, because I would devour all of them in a couple of days.

Tomato Zucchini Casserole

I’ve seen a couple of blogs and videos lately on the importance of home cooking and how it’s one of the simplest things you can do to improve your health.

Apple Sangria - Kitchen, Uncorked […] with three jugs of sangria. Some would argue that that might make me the favourite 😉 I brought a tomato zucchini casserole to share, as well, but the sangria was the star for […]

Pistachio Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Pistachio Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Usually when I make Pork Tenderloin, I don’t really do a lot to it. I marinate it for a few hours in a mixture that includes orange juice and soy sauce and then roast it for about 45 minutes.
